Novel Writing Month

I am back to say draft 12 is coming along nicely. I plan to have it finished by the end of the month so I can spend the Christmas season editing. I know I’m inches from completing it and sending it off to agents!

One of my most exciting discoveries is how much Bridge Heart reflects and is anchored to the famous Epic of Gilgamesh. The strangest thing is I didn’t realize this until recently even though I have been writing this for almost five years. It’s funny how a lot of the process has been more like uncovering something instead of creating it. It plays along so well with the theme that I truly wonder if stories really are based on real worlds in other dimensions.
