Draft 12 Complete

As of December 1st, I completed draft 12 of Bridge Heart. Now I am taking a well needed rest. Ideas set in better when they have time to gestate. I have never been more confident with the shape of this story. Once I type it up in the new year, it will be off to my beta readers!

Now the biggest concern is not going mad while I take a break. I’ve never been one to slow down and relax, its a bit of a vice of mine. I always feel the need to be working on something. It’s strange how much I suffer when all I need to do it sit back for a while. I am working on this. Afterall, burnout is real and I have no intention of falling down that pit again. I’d say gratitude is the key for me: taking the time to breath in whats good about my life, helps switch off the rat race.
